Multidimensional Art
No Worries
This is something new I have started doing. On the front side, the paintings are gridded with gemstones (specific gemstones for specific projects), infusing them with the metaphysical healing properties of each gemstone. On the flip side, the healing intentions of the painting are painted and sent to the universal Source for activation. The canvas of each painting is stretched so that the painting is suspended in the center; the focal piece of a funky dream catcher type structure. The frames are also handmade to compliment the individuality of each painting. Anyone who gazes upon a piece of Healing Art will receive the benefits it offers unconditionally!

De Ida y Vuelta
De Ida y Vuelta, translated Back and Forth, is a piece that I created for the Maude Kerns 21st Annual Día de los Muertos Exhibit in 2014. It ended up being the center piece of the room!

De Ida y Vuelta, translated Back and Forth, is a piece that I created for a Dia de los Muertos Exhibit in Eugene, OR.
Dia de los Muertos is a popular Mexican Celebration with deep roots in the Aztec Harvest rituals, paying homage to the Aztec god of Death. It was once a month long festival to give thanks, as well as to commune with loved ones who have passed on. Try as they did, the Spanish were unable to cleanse the Aztecs of this special connection they have.

The Sugar Skull phenomenon which sweeps over the world every year around All Souls Day and All Saints Day, is one aspect of the rituals that morphed with the Spanish influences.
Back in the day, sugar candy skulls were made and decorated with the names of those passed. Family members and friends would then eat these skulls to honor their ancestors.
Today, Sugar Skull face painting has become a popular costume for Dia de los Muertos celebrations.

This Unique canvas frame holds seven individual canvases together as one...separate but together! The piece is meant to hang in open space, and is designed for fluid movement of energy, back and forth. The canvases are suspended in their frames, each one gridded out with gemstones, inviting energies of protection, communication and creativity.
The front side offers an epic collage, while the back side provides the energetic glue that holds it all together.
Please Enjoy!
Frog Power (front)
This piece was commissioned for a leukemia patient.
As such, I chose Frog as the subject and gridded it out with four different gemstones: Jasper (red, red imperial, green imperial, mookaite), Red Tiger Eye, Green Aventurine, and Unakite.
Frog is a power animal symbolizing: Healing, Cleansing and Rebirth. Frog is believed to bring rain when needed. Water cleanses and gives renewed freshness. Similarly, Frog's medicine can wash away any negative physical and mental energies which may deny us a balanced and peaceful life. Frog helps to nourish our own innate ability to heal ourselves on all levels.

Jasper is a supreme nurturer. It provides protection and absorbs negative energy, re-energizes the body and calms emotion. Tiger Eye also protects and empowers, while providing courage, self-confidence and willpower.
Aventurine brings in balance and prosperity, while encouraging perseverance. It also calms anger and frustration; and dissolves negative emotions and thoughts, while bringing well-being. Unakite balances emotions with spirituality, while supporting in recovery from major illness.
I wrote the healing intentions of this painting in a spiral. The spiral is the oldest symbol known to be used in spiritual practices. It represents the life force energy, and reflects the universal pattern of growth and evolution. The spiral is a sacred symbol that reminds us of our evolving journey in life, and helps consciousness to accept the turnings and changes of life as it evolves.

Abundance
This piece now hangs at the Pelican Café in Lake Worth, FL. It was created with the intention of bringing prosperity to the place of business and the family that owns it. Anyone who looks upon this painting is filled with loving energy and light.
Transitions & Flowers (front)
This piece was created in 2016. A commission work for a friend who was in a big transitional period of life. It is all about jumping out of old life dramas and creating new ones. It signifies growth, with all of the friction and movement that comes along that path.

The Elements
The piece below was a fun piece which I created for the Maude Kerns Art for All Seasons, 2014 Annual Membership Exhibit. It consists of four canvases painted front and back, stretched to suspend within each individual frame.
The four frames are attached to each other to form a cube, which suspends from the ceiling, or in this case, the stand. All of this done with the intention of creating movement of energy between the elements. Each individual canvas is my personal interpretation of the elements as they relate to the many aspects of the art of Jin Shin Jyutsu®, Zodiac Signs, Planets, and Colors.
