This is a fun meditation I did once:
Close your eyes.
Feel your canvas in front of you.
Drop your instrument of choice to the surface;
 and begin drawing, one continuous line, with eyes shut.  Then open your eyes, and fill in the always amazing picture that was hiding beneath your empty canvas.
