I mentioned something about a rotten apple not being much of a gift to give in the last post. It caused me to flip the lens and look within. I certainly don't want Amy taking a big bite of rotten me :-)
Tough thing to do...look at yourself. Most of us avoid it at all cost (besides the mirror of course), opting for the easier of our choices...focusing on everyone else. I am certainly guilty of this more than I care to mention. I mean, when it comes down to it...I love people watching! Definitely a favorite activity, and it often goes hand-in-hand with a bunch of useless, unfair judgement...the peanut gallery. Enough with the Peanut Gallery! Let's look inside! It is said that the things that most bother us in others are aspects of ourselves that we are to afraid to acknowledge. So let's take an honest look at us. Let's make sure that we like what we see. It is up to us after all. This week's drawing is me looking at me. Take a few moments to look at you today. You are worth the time. Do you like what you see? Go from there. Thanks for being you! Love and Gratitude, Alfie
